Terms of Sale
These terms apply to everything sold through this website by BuildPlan Construction Advisory. Placing an order means you accept them.
All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable tax. Payment is taken by Stripe at the point of purchase; your order is complete once Stripe confirms the payment and your download links are released.
Every product is a digital file licensed to you for use on your own projects, and for use inside your own business. You may print it, fill it in and keep copies for your records. You may not resell it, publish it, or distribute it as a template of your own.
Our products are planning and record-keeping documents. They are written from real construction experience, but they are not a substitute for project-specific professional advice, and they do not replace statutory approvals, building control, or the advice of your designer, engineer or solicitor. Responsibility for decisions taken on your project remains with you.
Digital Delivery
Delivery is immediate. Once Stripe confirms payment you are taken to a confirmation page with a download button for every file in your order, and the same links are emailed to the address you gave at checkout.
Download links are private to your order and remain active for 30 days. Bundles deliver every file they contain in the same order — there is nothing further to buy.
If a download does not work, email buildplanconstructionadvisory@gmail.com with your order reference and we will send the files across by return.
Refunds
Because these are digital products delivered immediately, you agree that the download begins as soon as payment is confirmed, and that the statutory 14-day cancellation right for digital content no longer applies once the download has started.
That said, we would rather you were happy than hold your money. If a file will not open, is corrupted, is not what the product page described, or you bought the wrong item by mistake, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will replace it or refund it in full.
To request a refund, email buildplanconstructionadvisory@gmail.com with your order reference and what went wrong. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method by Stripe, usually within five working days.
Privacy
BuildPlan Construction Advisory collects only what it needs to sell you a product and answer your enquiries: your name, email address, the details you submit through the contact form, and the record of what you bought.
Card details are never seen or stored by this website. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe, who act as the payment processor and hold the card data under their own terms. We receive only the outcome of the payment, the amount, and the email address you gave at checkout.
Order records are kept so we can honour downloads, provide support and meet our accounting obligations. Enquiry messages are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services needed to run the site — Stripe for payment, Netlify for hosting and form handling, and our email provider for order confirmations.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing buildplanconstructionadvisory@gmail.com.
Cookies
This site does not run advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout pages to process your payment securely and to prevent fraud; those pages are hosted by Stripe and covered by Stripe’s privacy policy.
